Lynda Harman, bass flute
Lynda Harman plays bass flute with the Flutesonic Orchestra. She earned her ARCM from Royal College of Music London England, BA in Music with Honors from University of California and Master of Science in Project Management from George Washington University. She has had the honor of studying with James Galway, William Bennett, Luella Howard, Lloyd Gowen to name a few. A highlight of her studies included an afternoon of playing flute duets with Jean Pierre Rampal. She has performed in most major cities of Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom with a variety of different groups as both a soloist and ensemble player.
She recently returned to playing again after taking a twenty year hiatus from performing and found it is like riding a bicycle thanks to her strong training foundation. She is grateful for the opportunity to play with the talented musicians that make up the Flute Conspiracy family. By day she is a Partner with Teradata Corporation; a global leader in enterprise data warehousing and analytic technologies, by night she is either playing bass flute, alto flute, C flute or Irish flute.
